The 42st edition of the Toronto International Film Festival was held for 11 days, from 07 to September 17, 2017 in the city of Toronto in Canada, awarding the best films from a large part of the world. The movie Borg/McEnroe, opened the festival.
A total of 255 films and 84 short films were screened at the Festival, including 147 world premieres.
