An apartment block about to be demolished. Twelve tenants waiting for relocation. A sniper who is methodically wiping them out. These are the wickers used to weave this screenplay by James Moran (Severance), taken to the screen by James Nunn and Ronnie Thompson in their debut behind the camera. Following in the working class lines that seem to have taken over British genre these last few seasons (as is the case, also this year in Sitges, with Citadel), Tower Block is an exciting and very black clockwork mechanism that turns a suburban building into a mortal mousetrap.
