Ostrava crime scene (TV series) (2020)

Ema and Ján are a seemingly very different pair of investigators from the criminal police in Ostrava. Ema is simple, rational and competitive, while Ján is quite explosive, temperamental and relational. Ema decides to participate in the selection process for the head of the Homicide Department, and to everyone's surprise, she wins the selection process, since her only opponent, Ján, is currently under investigation for shooting the perpetrator. The demanding job of a mother and work on the ward prepare Emma for a very difficult start. Especially her partner Ján de ella will be one of those who take her with tweezers from the beginning. Ján does not care that someone has surpassed him, but above all that someone is in a position for which he, in his opinion, is not qualified. While investigating complicated cases, little by little they will become a couple who will not only complement each other brilliantly professionally, but will even find in each other something more than just professional affection... The stories in the series are inspired by real cases investigated by the police of Ostrava (Czech Republic) during the last years.
