Alive (2004)

When Alex Meyer, a director of musicals, rediscovers the inspiration that had deserted him when he split up with his wife, Elisa, his producer refuses to come on board. In the world of show biz, three years absence is a very, very long time. Alex therefore decides to try do the impossible: create his new show with no budget. He discovers Matthieu, a young, talented composer lacking in confidence. Together, after getting the main cast of many first-time performers together, the pair offer a chance to a few young promising talents. Will the energy and the bonds linking the troupe allow it to create the show of their dreams despite the obstacles it has to overcome? Will Alex be able to win back the woman he still loves?
