Quim (Leonardo Sbaraglia) is travelling through an isolated area in Spain, trying to get to the town where his girlfriend is staying. When he makes a stop at a gas station, he finds the men’s toilet out of order – a seemingly insignificant detail, perhaps, but it acts as a catalyst that changes his life forever. As he exits the women’s washroom, the sexual tension between Quim and a strange young woman named Bea (María Valverde) explodes, and they enjoy some lusty anonymous sex right on the sink. Taking advantage of the moment, Bea steals Quim’s wallet and heads for her car, paying his petrol bill as she leaves. Quim’s curiosity – not to mention his desire to retrieve his lucky lighter – overtakes his reason; when he spies Bea’s car on an unmarked road, he decides to follow the rabbit down the hole, ending up in completely surreal circumstances.
