Gaku (2011)

Based on the Shinichi Ishizuka series 'Gaku: Minna no Yama'. The film tells the story of Sanpo Shimazaki, an experienced mountaineer and volunteer of the rescue team, who knows well the difficulties and beauty of the mountains. Kumi Shiina is a new volunteer under the guidance of rescue leader Masato Noda and Sanpo. Kumi realizes just how difficult her new job is: failed missions, grieving families blaming the rescuers, and the awesome power of her mother nature.
