Synopsis

Pirates invade the area of the Amazon forest where Maya lives, a young indigenous woman who ends up being a victim of bandits, leaving the baby Tainá an orphan. Protected by the roots of the Great Tree (sapopemba), she is saved by the lonely old shaman Tigê. After five years, the shaman takes her to her town, where they are electing the new leader defending nature. Because she is a girl, Tainá is unable to appear in combat. However, by inheritance from Maya, the last Warrior Amazon and with the support of Laurinha, a very smart girl from the city and the nerdy native Gobi, the little indigenous girl will defeat the bandits and at the same time clarify the mystery of her own origin.
