A romantic comedy in which shallow womanizer Dawg (Denis Leary) is forced by Anna Lockheart (Elizabeth Hurley)--a stern lawyer and executor of his grandmother's will-- to track down and apologize to the many women he has betrayed over the years in order to gain his inheritance. As he is confronted with each past conquest, Dawg gradually begins to question his past callousness. But Lockheart's demeanour is also changing and the pair's initial bickering turns into something else all together.
