One Of Those Days When Hemme Dies (2024)

Eyüp has gone bankrupt and now has to leave İzmir and return to Siverek. With the help of his friend Ali, he starts working in a field where he dries tomatoes with villagers under the scorching heat of the sun. Not being able to get his wage on time, Eyüp feels frustrated. That day things go as usual for others: Villagers continue working in the field as they joke with one another, while the foreman Hemme, having trouble sleeping because of the flies, seems anxious about not being able to get the job done on time.
