This experimental video essay masterfully blends archival material from Rome's Workers' and Democratic Movement and the Mario Mieli LGTBIQ+ Movement, alongside internet images and adult films from the 1970s to the early 2000s, notably featuring works by Italian pioneer Lasse Braun. Through this rich tapestry of visuals, the film undertakes a non-fictional examination of the deep connection between explicit sexual imagery and the political and societal conditions from which it emerges. Simultaneously, it offers a comprehensive look at the last five decades of Italian history.
