Maria Angeles (Carmen Maura), a 79-year-old Spanish woman, leads a content, solitary life in Tangier, northern Morocco, savoring her city and daily routine. Her peaceful existence is disrupted when her daughter, Clara (Marta Etura), arrives from Madrid with plans to sell the apartment Maria Angeles has always called home. Fiercely determined to stay in the city where she grew up, Maria Angeles embarks on a mission to save her home and reclaim a lifetime of cherished possessions. Unexpectedly, amidst this battle, she rediscovers love and desire against all odds.
