Julio Sumiu (2014)

South zone of Rio de Janeiro. Edna (Lilia Cabral) is the mother of Julio (Pedro Nercessian) and Sílvio (Fiuk). One day she wakes up desperate when she realizes that Julio has simply disappeared, without a trace. Worried, she goes to the police station with Eustáquio (Dudu Sandroni), her husband, but they are mistreated by the deputy delegate J. Rui (Augusto Madeira), who was more interested in winning over his co-worker Madalena (Carolina Dieckmann) . After receiving a notice on the answering machine that her son is with Tião Demônio (Leandro Firmino), the drug lord on the next hill, Edna decides to go there to negotiate. Surprised by a shooting, she ends up taking 20 kg of cocaine for the drug dealer who, in return, promises to free Julio. The problem is that Silvio, upon discovering the cocaine, decides to sell it.
