John Wick, legendary retired assassin, returns to the action driven by an uncontrollable search for revenge. Having to fight against people with thirst for blood who chase him, John will have to take his skills to the limit if he wants to leave this time alive.
The fights are very fast, but at the same time completely clear and easy to follow. So many weapons, styles, chases, vehicles, animals, and everything. Impressive combinations of weapons and fighting styles (the gun and sword combo is my favorite). The music is incredible as always, maybe even a little better than previous installments, and it enhances every action scene. There are some scenes filmed in such a creative way that I hadn't seen before; one of them is an overhead shot that I couldn't believe—it takes the film to a new level. Many scenes feel like a video game coming to life. However, what I see as a problem is the plot, which is shallow, but worse, it makes no sense. The behavior of all the characters is nonsensical. The subplot with the tracker is not written consistently at all. And this world and the mythology surrounding it don't make much sense either.
