While working in his lab during a storm one night, a bolt of lightning strikes a tray of chemicals soaking police scientist Barry Allen with its contents. Now able to move at super-speed, Barry becomes The Flash protecting Central City from the threats it faces.
The story is the basis of the modern superhero movie without surprises. It has humor that goes overboard in the middle of the film, but what bothered me most was the young Ezra Miller, who is unbearably annoying. And another controversial element of this movie is definitely the visual effects, which are kind of bad. I'm also disappointed with the Supergirl character, who is completely useless in the story. The film is fast-paced and has a lot of action from the beginning of the footage, which I appreciate. What I also appreciate is Flash's relationship with his mother, because these scenes work very well, but it's not enough for a great movie. It's an average superhero film.
